Apache ActiveMQ is an open source message broker with a full JMS client written in Java under Apache 2.0 license. ActiveMQ V5.2.0 was ported on OpenVMS by Thierry Uso. The PCSI kit and installation instructions are available here.
ActiveMQ supports the following protocols:
- Stomp
- OpenWire
- xmpp
ActiveMQ supports the following language clients:
ActiveMQ for OpenVMS needs Java 1.5.0 or later and must be installed on an ODS-5 volume. It has been tested for Itanium only.
