ERRORLOGBUFF_S2 is an AUTOGEN system parameter that specifies the number of S2 space error log buffers reserved for system error log entries on Alpha and Integrity servers. Each buffer is ERLBUFFERPAG_S2 in length. If ERRORLOGBUFF_S2 is too low, messages might not be written to the error log file. If it is too high, the buffers can consume unnecessary physical pages.

If you increase ERRORLOGBUFF_S2, you must either run AUTOGEN or manually increase the size of both the system dump file and the error log dump file.
