SET PRINTER is a DCL command that establishes the characteristics of a specific line printer. Thedefault values listed for qualifiers to the SET PRINTER command are the defaults for an initially bootstrapped system. Requires OPER (operator) privilege. If the printer is a spooled device, LOG_IO (logical I/O) privilege is required to modify its characteristics.
